This is my version of the micro touornament, lot of ppl already know that map and I decided to put it here.
The first idea to do this map was long time ago, when I saw some korean version of micro tournament, I loved that map, but it was very amateour, it has just 10 levels, and no good features, so I came with whole new quite monstrous version.
This version contains:
a) 217 Levels divided in several categories, you can choose random level, or exact level range
b) Balanced level design, when you have some micro situation, you can always try both sides of the situation.
b) Random starting locations, they change every second level.
c) Give up/Offer draw system
d) Ban system
e) Anticamp system, some levels are flaged as anticamping, it means, that both players have to get units to center every 20 seconds or so, or they loose, this is to avoid some cheesy strategies sometimes.
f) Limited fight time.
g) Draw system - if players kill each other, it is draw (would be always for example for scourge vs scourge), they get to repeat the battle, but if they draw for 3 times, they both lost the round and neither of them go to the next level of the tree.
h) Attacker/Defender some levels have defined attacker and defedner, and the attacker has some limited time to win or the defender wins.
(Also used in some levels where one player could run around with one unit without beeing cought like zealot vs ling, or just in some obvious levels like sunk vs ling)
i) Smart autokill
j) Free points for not having opponent, for win you get 5 points, but when you don't have opponent in your part of tree, and there is some fight on that level on the tree, you get free 3 points, so the disadvantage isn't so big, this assures, that the winner gets always the most points and balances it.
k) +2 points for winning without loosing single unit (You get promted that you achieved that, and all players too ^^)
l) Custom level system, You can choose this mod, and set up almost any possible micro combination you want witht the custom level system, you choose units for both sides, and then all the micro tournament copies those units for all players and you can play it.
But if you choose some imba micro, so one side of the micro always wins, you get minus points for that.
m) No need for any specific player to stay in the game, the map handles it.
n) The map hides all internal mechanics, so all players see are units they get in the game.
The map almost always was and probably will be kept OPEN, this means, you can look at the triger, or change it, but if you change the map I would prefer for you to try to contact me first, or if you don't want, you should DEFINETLY do these two things
1) Keep me as the creator of the map and some link to the original map
2) Make sure you write you down as the modifier of the map.

This is the only map I made, and I put lot of effort and time in it, considering all the micro maps I know, I think this one is pretty good, so I vote for my own map :)
