  • I'm pushing live some changes tonight, most notably:

    - Speed enhancements (of course, the usual)
    - New private messaging
    - Swapping template engines, but this is completely internal (Jinja1->Jinja2)
    - Some bug fixes, nothing critical.

    Here's some of the upcoming features on my TODO:

    - Edit/delete your own comments outside of the forums.
    - Hide comments posted on maps/projects you own.
    - Post additional screenshots (beyond the automated previews) for your maps.

    I wanted to take this moment to also reach out, and see if any of you are interesting volunteering on the site. There's a few areas where you can help:

    Python/C++

    Not so much the website, but various components that it utilizes. A big one is going to be the bot which tracks games that I dont have time to write.

    We utilize mostly Python technology with come C-Python extensions. These include Django, Jinja2, our own version of GhostBot, libmpq, and some custom parsing extensions.

    Moderation

    This can be in several areas, from comments/posts, to the pending changes areas. I'd like to keep getting things cleaned up and enhance the quality. I'll requiring recommendations for this one if you're interested.

    Spreading the word
