More Moderation Controls

  • I've been doing quite a bit of work over my holiday vaca on moderation tools. There's now a dedicated section (though it's incomplete) for handling User/IP moderation. Any user can click an IP to get to this page and view quite a bit of detailed information about the activity of that IP.

    With this, certain moderators will also have the ability to wipe/selectively remove comments and ratings made by users, or entire IP addresses.

    Another change which has gone live, is the restriction on how ratings work. I won't go into details, but this should kill off the usefulness of rating spam.

    You'll find links to the mentioned IP lookup pages by simply clicking an anonymous user's name, or going to a profile and clicking their IP.
