How do I get the computers to play better? Ive heard some maps have better computer-players. How do I find these maps?

Any map played UMS with an 'Insane' AI can sometimes be impossible to beat.. mostly because it outright cheats (gives itself 10000 minerals and 5000 gas).

i beat a computer on 'hard' once. Insane is almost unbeatable. It usually cheats like what ranzear said.

O.o There is such a thing as having a self excutible starcraft patch file. Which when you run it would have you select Starcraft's "executible" file location or .exe and run the game using the settings. . . which basically your modding the game so its only useful for single player purposes not gonna work with bnet. I would suggest lookin up starcraft AI on google or something wuld prob come up with some hits if what your looking for is just for single player purposes.. . for instance if u wanna get some rly good practice goin and not have 2 deal with getting smack talked haha.
through personal experiences i think that if u truly want to get better u have to play heads up against someone. But having a smarter AI would make for some fun single player maps.
