ums problem... plz help

  When I was working on Steppes of War 3.4 I came across this problem.

  When I use UMS in StarCraft the computer player's base won't appear.

  It could be the Overminds I placed that were supposed to be Destructible Rocks, but I don't know.

  I use SCMDraft to edit my maps, if that helps.

  If anyone has a solution please post here or comment on my map.

• You haven't placed Start Location for Player 4, that why his units doesn't appear.

  However if you'll play with human which will be Player 2 everything should be OK, except that P4 Overmind on 9 o'clock won't appear.

  Make P2 (not P4) the computer and everything should be alright.

• I've played human on P2, and my base didn't appear.

  If I did it on regular staredit it would probably appear, but I don't have Brood War. (The CD won't autorun anymore and
  maps made on SCMDraft make scm files look like scx files.)

  I've made P4 neutral and placed his start location, made P2 computer, and no matter where I place P2's base, it doesn't appear.

  The problem MIGHT be SCMDraft, as it's a buggy version, but it's unlikely if that was true.

  You need the latest Starcraft update to play over UDP. IPX (NetBIOS) isn't supported by Vista/Win7 and is more of a pain to set up than just updating.

  Assuming, of course, that you can install the patch on your legitimate starcraft installs, right?
