Greetings Nibbits users,
I am Excalibur. I come from a place called SEN. We affiliate with Nibbits (see our little image at the bottom of the page?) It would appear through the site's popularity ratings that most of you haven't a clue how to make a proper melee map (Read: A balanced one.), so I thought to myself what can I do?

It makes me sad to see such bad melees being made on this site, and I do hope those of you posting them (Read: XoG) will take a look at these guides and try to improve if only so that you're no longer guilty of eyeslaughter in the first degree.

Hey excalibur. If you'd like to write up an article on how to properly do this with pointers, tips, do's and dont's.., I'd be happy to post it as a front-page item and place it in the guides section.

We already have the ones I linked to on SEN. There isn't much I could do to improve upon Arax's guide.
However I'll submit it here anyway.

Can someone review my map Bloody Alley its a 1v1 Map and i would like it if i had a second opinion on it
Every should know melee maps are standard maps with no customizations. They feature nothing unique and different from the game itself. Also the link to Staredit.net is not found. It has Error 404!
So if that's the case, what makes a good melee map then?
What Terrian do you need, what structures do you need?
What would you say is a good melee map?
