Hi,
I'm looking for a map which can be played multiplayer and which has no victory conditions. The players can attack each other, but are allied. Creatures and buildings can be created instantly. That sort of thing. I'm sure something like this exists, but I'm a noob and I'm not sure what exactly I need to search for.

Sounds like a lame altered starcraft map with instant build of some sort. I'm sure people still host those on b.net. Not sure offhand if anyone has uploaded on nibbits but you might consider searching for maps with instant in the name.

Hmm yea, he might be at that. Especially if it had a science vessel or something that you ran around to use to spawn stuff you wanted to buy. And generally made your own story and had really good terrain.
He's probably looking for one of the various RP maps.
Check my uploads for a few.
You could easily make this map yourself. Go in the editor, set the units to be insta-build, delete the victory/loss trigger, put players on the same force, etc.
RP maps are a little different and usually come with unnecessary triggers/features that might defeat the purpose.
