DoTA stands for Defense on Terrain Aiur.
The story takes place when Aiur was infested by the Zerg. It is their defense as well as the Zerg's. Be an Executor recruited by Artanis or a Cerebrate summoned by the Overmind. Defend the Xel Naga Temple or Defend the Overmind. Whatever side you choose your main objective is to destroy your opponent's base and defend yours !
Game features:
-choose from 9 starting heroes. 3 for each race, (str, agi, int- determines their armor type)
-level up at 7. then 15, max level 25 (level up means to become a stronger hero!)
-27 total playable heroes, 9 for each race
-weapon upgrades and armor upgrades
-mercenary shop
-all heroes uniquely balanced (HP, dmg, aspd, mspd, skills)
-3v3 UMS team play map
-map is balanced from terrain to unit stats
-bugs fixed
-includes level up system
-respawn system
-neutral creeps
-modified hotkeys
-play with its own Mod! it should be played with the mod, else, the units will be imbalanced.
