A good example of what not to do
- Terrain:
- There is alot of ways to exploit it to defeat enemies.
- Units:
- Unit choices weren't bad...but also were not good.
- AI:
- There is no AI.
- Sound:
- No sounds in the map.
- Originality:
- It's actually a really good idea; but it needs work.
- Replay Value:
- Yeah...no.
This map did not seem to have been planned well.
First of all, the map itself has a very bland design. The areas I was in had very little things that stuck out in my mind, and gave it a nice appeal.
The next thing is the gameplay...the gameplay for this map was too easy. All you have to do is make Rush take the brunt of each attack and then follow up against any ranged units. As for Melee, you can kite.
You also can't lose the map either; so there's an issue there. I have no worries now; I'll continue to send myself over and over until all the enemies are gone.
Then the design was awful. There were so many ways to break the game, it was appalling. Things that should have been invincible were not. I could have easily went to the final boss and won; In fact there were ways I was able to break the game easily by destroying the barriers that blocked me from the castle because they were not invincible.
All in all, this was not a good map. This needs some serious work.
