The Object of this map was to protect your individual bases, your allies bases, upgrade your units, and use your heroes and army to defeat your enemies.

The map gets its name from the book The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien which takes place in the lord of the rings universe. The battle was near the end of the book and was between the dwarvfs, elves, goblins, orcs, and humans. The objective of the battle was for control of the lonely Mt., Erebor and all its riches.

Note from the author: I made Starcraft maps back in the day. I made several versions of BOTFA, including this one as a teenager. I have since lost the original game files as its been almost 10 years, so updates are probably not coming soon.
