Players pick a party (3 characters) and then engage the other team in a soccer battle of domination. Players can gain levels from kills as they go and upgrade their parties armor and attack ratings. There are creeps on the map to kill for this purpose which gradually get stronger over time as someone gets to a higher level.

Heroes are revived upon death after a short wait and the game is played to five goals.

You have never seen soccer like this, Final Fantasy Soccer might be a bit more interesting than your average soccer. Something about picking heroes and trying to level them up while also trying to protect your goal from being scored on by the other team. Definitely worth a shot even if you don't like most other soccer maps because this isn't like most other soccer maps! Best played as close to 3vs3 as possible and please pick a party that has the same upgrade requirements for all the units.
