Review by Pr0nogo 3
4-player? More like no player.
- Terrain:
- Four types of terrain used? Less than twenty doodads? Really?
- Originality:
- I see nothing 'original' about making a bad map.

- To really enjoy this map, you have to have no taste in maps, or otherwise have not played a good melee map before.
Aside from the horrid symmetry style you used (somehow using a 1v1 symmetry works on a 2v2 map? I don't think so), there are several key issues with the map.
1. Every resource deposit is a 2gas 20something Mineral. This means that there is no strategy to where you expand, because you'll have enough for endgame with just one expansion.
2. Again, no decor of any kind. You used literally four types of terrain across the map, one of them being water. The four or five doodads you did use were repeated across all sides of the map (I assume this was to keep within the 40CC rule for base areas, but maybe not). Your doodads should not be the same thing for every base, and should be a little more prominent in the map than 'five in the base, none anywhere else'.
3. The gas rule is butchered and left for dead in this map. Two players will harvest gas faster than the other two players.
"The top and left geysers will mine faster than the bottom and right geysers. Always remember: Balanced gas > symmetrical gas." (Taken from 'Melee Mapping Section: What you should know!' on StarEdit.net)
Your mineral formations are also painful to look at, now that I think about it.
That's how Mineral Fields should look in a melee map.
To my understanding, you meant to make a money map like Big Game Hunters. I suppose you succeeded in that respect, but you could have at least tried to make the map look better and followed proper resource formations.
