  • Spam ratings have only happened a few times (from same IP's) and for the most part have been removed. I am pretty sure there is a system in place for downloads, I've noticed whenever I download a map on firefox though it shows up as two downloads...not sure why. Sometimes it does appear maps are getting a download boost, but its kinda hard to say sometimes.

    As for users not doing much while some people have apparently made spam accounts to rate stuff excessively down or up I think a lot of those people are ones who might have registered to comment/rate some maps they like or whatever. So we don't want to just start banning people that ignore the forums. Anyway, at least the top commenter/rater of maps is active in the forums ;-) (ME :D!).

    EDIT: Not to mention people could ask their friends from battle.net to register and while there at it maybe comment/rate some maps.
