    @RozzKO: Are you setting the drop-down box to 'Use Map Settings' when picking the map in-game?

    More than likely his problem the whole time, especially if the start locations are too close to minerals or have no room for a CC/Nexus/Hive at all. Or he's using one of the good editors that lets him save without placing start locations at all.
