  • Most of the little kiddies who would steal a map and slap their name on it aren't exactly swift enough, by virtue of thinking they could get away with it, to get around most map protection schemes.

    Even just making a map with functions outside the scope of standard Staredit makes a lot of theft problems go away.

    But most of all, a map that is known to be by a particular author is going to get noticed as stolen, so posting your maps on nibbits or other sites is actually the best protection you can get.
