Problem with CHW & TS is that u only have 4 diff spells --> u can only repeat same strategy over and over again, so even if the spells look fancy it gets boring.
I want to make a CHW-like game with 2 sets of spells - 3 preset spells for each heroes, and 4 customizable spells.
That would be total of 3 x 14 - 4 (some spells are shared) + 4 x 6 = 60~ spells.
Anyone interested? Please help me make the map, either by directly contributing to building the triggers, or by suggesting ideas.
This is what I have written down so far:
Preset spells:
Tank – 2 gas
1. Long-lasting, completely filled box. Enemy and computer players transported outside. 2. Tank summons 3. Redemption (i.e. chw)
DT – 2 gas
1. True blind 2. Shield regeneration (i.e. better version of sci vessel def matrix) 3. Disable/disorient spells cast nearby
1. Transform plane & escape the crowd 2. Shield regeneration (i.e. better version of sci vessel def matrix) 3. Repeated bursts of black hole
Ultralisk – 1 gas
1. Short rejuve encompassing summons 2. Ultralisk summons 3. Accumulating mutas per kill (bloodlust – supplemented by summons killing outside duel)
Zergling – 1 gas
1. Repeated bursts of black hole 2. Temporary mass zergling summon 3. gas steal
Rine – 1 gas
1. Gas bank 2. Turret rise 3. Temporary invincibility with timer limiting consecutive use
