I believe there is 2 types of map makers in this world... Those who create maps in 1 day making it a world wide hit with simplicity, like impossibles or golems, and those who really take time to create something perfect, something you may call a game not a map...
Ever since i started map making which was few good years ago, iv always tryd to be one of those mentioned second... (my first map: http://www.nibbits.com/sc/maps/view/125855/ [Rank 366 out of 11,863 in StarCraft maps on Nibbits]) So i present to you One Big Zombie Rampage (Innovative Survival RPG Game)
Features. -5 Unique stacked Units weapon system -8 variants of items for unique character build. -Never before seen (i believe) inventory system (il leave it as a surpirse) -Constant centerview on hero for a unique game expiriance(everything including inventory is near ur hero) -Many variats on what you can spend money on including interactable environment features. -2 Difficulty levels
At first, I felt iffy with the stacked units.. but once I got into it, it was fine, and showed me its charm.
There are still quite a few problems I had with the map... For example, I HATE the centerview on the units... and I HATE the inventory system. Both are COMPLETELY unrequired...
Centerview does NOT make the game challenging.. it just makes it frustrating and a headache to play, especially when trying to save fellow teammates. Since you've opted for strange colors, AND a twilight terrain, it is 100% impossible to find out where your teamates are with the centerview always on your own unit.
The inventory system is ALSO a headache, as it is hard to click and unhotkeyable. Go for dropship or gateway system, PLEASE. I know they're used everywhere, but they WORK, and that's why they're used.
Lastly, I felt some of the weapons aren't made equal... C4's suck.... Barricades are okay, but are wasted way too early.. and Heal is probably the best... but the old MedKit in your Inventory, then use Dropship to use them is a much better system as it requires planning.
The map has many strong points.. but also many weak points that could've been easily fixed if you've stuck to conventional, but useful gameplay mechanics. I want to point out that the criticism that you got on SEN aren't at all bad. Usually, people will not even bother to criticize your map that much if they didn't think your map had some potential.
Cane said that he wanted the players to feel like they weren't playing StarCraft... Which is why he added centerview as well as making the terrain exotic and creative.
The inventory system is fine; if you're incapable of clicking a larva, that is your fault. The items are rare, and are to be used in moderation. You wouldn't spam them, which makes hotkeying the larva a good idea.
Brand new version of One Big Zombie Rampage is out! I fixed few things and made a major change in gameplay, now its much more enjoyable and winable solo!

I am glad somebody actual used that sprite weapon system I conceived all those years ago, it works well with your map.
Thank you and yes stack sprites is a great system almost never used by anyone
Just wondering when the full version of RE TFS will be available. From what I played it was great.
unfortunatly 0.5 will be the last ver of TFS : /

I agree about the point of larva ppl are making, it is hard to use but i wanted to implant this system for innovation.
