This game features a real life like game play while combining the 'capture the flag', cat and mouse as well as some rpg aspects. Its system is a score based game a bit simular to halflife map.
The 6 terran players, who each controls a single different terran unit in the expedition team(1 medic, 2 ghosts, 2 marines, and 1 fire bat)are to bring their units to the flag beacon of their base. While the 2 protoss players who play as the predator hunters(2 darktemplar and additional zerg helpers) will do anything they could to hunt them down before they can reach their goal. Each team have their own unique advantages and strategy.
The 6 terran units are given all their special abilities like stim pack and lockdown. The medic player is responcible for scanning when the team is attacked by the invisible predators. Also if the team accuired enough score and resource(usually happens in the second half of the game), she will be able to build a limited amount of rangers(marines) and bunkers to set up a saft spot alone the route to the base. While others can use the resource to upgrade their stats by walking over the enginerring bay at their goal area.
The predator on the other hand has the advantage of invisibility hence allowing them to deliver their attack with the element of supprise and creates disorder and panik. The 2 players of the team are given 2 dark templar a zergling, 1 unbreakable transport and 5 oberservers to start with. The zergling serves like a skirmisher, its also given the ability to borrow. The transport can be used to catch up the running terrans. And the observers are no doubt to be used to watch and find them. Like the terrans, as the team accuires enough score and resource, the players will be awarded additional helpers and the option to build more dark templar or upgrade the given ones.
The terrans score by successfully bringing a unit to the beacon or killing a predator unit. While the predator score by hunting down the terran units. Since the predator team has a more rigged advantage, the scoring system is a bit more bias toward the terran side. The terrans will score and gain resouces more killing a predator unit comparing to the gains of the predator when killing a terran units.
The game has a time limit of 20 minute. when it ends the higher score team wins the game. When a unit dies during the game, or when the terran unit reaches its base, it will be recreated at the starting point. If its the terran player, heshe is given the freedom to do the run by them self or to wait for the others to arrive.
Team work is the center of this game for terran team or predator team alike. The players are required to come up with tactics to counter the actions of their enemy hence bring the real life like game play. For the simplist example, if the predator team is walling off the pass with units, the terran team can have the highest hp unit to run ahead and lure them into the following members who's ready to fire at the enemy. For the example of the predators they can work together to establish a effective skirmish tactics.
So instead of a game letting you shooting the hell out of everything, it gives the players pleasure of success of team works and good thinking, delivering a real life game play.
