The latest installment in the Duel series. This map is square so the starting bases are relativly close together, making early rushes a viable option and fast teching something to think twice about. Also, the four start spots add an element of uncertainity, as you must scout to find your enemy.
Starting bases and two of the expansions are on low ground surrounded by high ground, but due to the distances involved you only having to worry about getting tanked bombed if you build right up to the edge. You'll still need to keep an eye on your choke though - the ramp goes up not down and you can get cannoned or bunkered in and never notice until the your attack or expansion troops get ate up.
There are also two high raised jungle expansions that are only accessable via transports. These expansions are great as it's hard to mess with them and they'll often be overlooked (esp. if you play with more than two people).
In the very center of the map, surrounded by temple, is a double-resource expansion. You can get a lot of money out of here, but be careful, the ramps going up onto the walls are on the outside wall, not the inside, and you can find yourself getting bombed by tanks or goons very easily. This weakness is slightly offset by the fact that the topography of the map makes the very center one of the lowest-trafficed areas on the map, but you'll still need to be on your toes.
You can play this one with up to four people. Be warned - this map is <i>brutal<i> in a 4-way FFA (but it's still fun as hell).
Like all the duel maps, this map has the following special characteristics:
1) Players in the 'spectator' force will be able to see the entire map at all times, but not participate.
2) The players start with full knowledge of the map (this is to reduce the advantage that players who know the map get, which is unfair in my opinion).
