This map is similar to Spawn Defense; three of the biggest differences are the steady climb of enemies' armor, the use of bunkers with upgrades to counter that armor, and that there are measures taken to prevent maxing the map.
Each player starts with minerals which they can use to either build bunkers (like Maze D), buy upgrades for those bunkers, or to purchase units that will go through the opponents' defense. Units sent this way will increase that player's per-turn allowance, or "income". Since the competition is an equal team, as opposed to the computer, the difficulty can be much more appropriate for the player's ability (unlike Maze D), and has much more player interaction than OYO (on your own) maps.
Latest changes since 3.96:
Reduced the bunker max from 40 to 35; it would still freeze a little bit, shouldn't anymore. (USUALLY when you see "freezing", it's just a mass of weak, non-threat units with a few strong, threat units mixed in)
Other changes since Choice 3.5b:
Bunkers max at 35; marines are the default choice, and ghosts do more damage. Freezing was reduced after I; simplified bunker choices; named units to include income, instead of using mineral patches; put a limit to the number of units moving through one defense at a time; and disabled building during the timer. Units no longer get "derailed", and they are never "unplacable" now. For every ground unit, there is a flying unit. 5s were removed, 75s were changed to 150s, 15Ks changed to 10Ks; rebalanced all units to have fair income, and to all be viable attack options. Only 200 enemy units allowed on one side at a time. The extra money glitch for spawning at the timer has been removed. Lives can be purchased for 1M.
Forced vision between players, allowed unallying for allied chat. Included bunker count and kills in the leaderboards, Increased initial allowance from 100m 10g to 400m 20g. Marines are the chosen bunker unit by default, as a convenience. There's now a banner.
Change(s) to look forward to:
An in-game tutorial.
I think this map is nearing the point of "perfection", or at least I can't think of many more improvements to make. If you can think of any, instead of doing it yourself, let me know what your idea is and I can do all the legwork, instead of you doing it. Then we won't have any problems :)
