About

Conquer the univers by buying units and taking over starports. you use a dropship to invade places such as comm stations and defense platforms. the more starports you conquer, the more money you get every few minutes.

Its been a long time since I've modded SC maps Galactic Conquest is my brain child.. Many years ago I set out to do what at that time "Rise of Rome" or any of the constant flood of "WWII/III Diplos" had failed to do.. Go Galactic! I decided I would be the first to put diplomacy in space platform tile set.. And I did.. Thus the first primitive attempt to do so at the beginning versions of this map involved sending troop ships "Terran Dropships" to Vespene Gas refineries Which would later be replaced by a 1/1 tile with a globe shaped sprite to represent a planet, At first garrisoned by a strong marine.. The ship selection process initially featured every air unit in the game.. This later proved to be a personal drawback as to my dismay all any one wanted to do was stack battle cruisers.. How ever I digress this early version captured for me a large fan base on Battle.net with its simple arcade style format.. A resource tribute system allows for simple diplomacy "secret chat recommended" Later versions allow for diplomatic trade in the form of Protoss Shuttles as trade ships.. Even in its early stages this game is sure to be fun with a full house..
