i've heard that 1.01 is glitched, so play the beta version.
played it, its impossible. the engine just cant handle that many units on the screen. I killed a crap load. when you get into the thousands of zerglings, it just crawls. its not that difficult of a map...

man what the hell me and 2 other people xxChaosxx and the_truth[war] we beat the offical score and got 867,492.... wasted about 3 hours of my life

we just beat this today, got all 1 million saved a replay but yeah that took like 4 hours. Also for some reason i saved the replay but for some reason the lings do different things, while our units do the same.
Which makes us end up losing for some odd reason.

I really like this map, it's fun but the lag gets unbearable. I don't know if the author will read this but I'd like to offer some possible suggestions.
1. Cap the number of zerglings down to maybe 1000 or so, this may help with the lag.
2. To make the map harder maybe you can nydas into the base area in intervals of 3 to 4 minutes, so the zerglings aren't just blocked at the choke point (idea courtesy of the final level in campaign). I think this mechanic can make the map more interesting.

str8 up is crap. lag is about three times worse than yall are saying. seriously. either down the number of lings or slow it down a bit.
Very easy map to beat if you know the terran cc glitch. Just gets boring very quickly unless you leave game on overnight or after couple of hours.
