Start with non-productive buildings, which you must defend or lose, and supply depots. Get a constant automatic stream of units. Kill units to get more powerful units. Destroy 2 buildings to get SCVs (up to 4) to build buildings yourself (for free). Massively fun on 4v4 - way more than in 3v3!
Each team has two terran players, a zerg player, and a protoss player. A full team is essential for teamwork and balance.
Terran: (20 marines, 10 heroes)
250 kills - Firebat
500 kills - Jim Raynor (vulture)
750 kills - Kerrigan
1000 kills - Medics (up to 5)
Protoss (15 zealots, 10 heroes):
